These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of WriteGap (“the Service”), operated by WriteGap (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What WriteGap does
WriteGap is a SaaS tool that analyzes keyword gaps between your website and competitors, generates weekly content briefs, and writes article drafts. It is designed for SaaS founders and small software teams.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your business. WriteGap is intended for business use, not personal or consumer use.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Plans
WriteGap offers monthly subscription plans (Basic, Growth, Premium, Agency). Plan details and pricing are listed at writegap.com/#pricing.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to the Service until that date.
Refunds
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds once a billing period has started. If you believe there has been a billing error, contact us at hello@writegap.com and we will review your case.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying models or data pipelines
- Share your account with others or resell access to the Service
- Use the Service to generate content that is defamatory, harmful, or in violation of third-party rights
- Overload or abuse the Service in a way that disrupts other users
5. AI-generated content
WriteGap uses AI to generate keyword briefs and article drafts. You own the content generated for your account. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and publishing that content. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or free of errors — always review before publishing.
6. SEO results
WriteGap provides keyword data, content briefs, and article drafts to support your SEO efforts. We do not guarantee any specific ranking improvements, traffic increases, or business results. Search engine rankings depend on many factors outside our control.
7. Google Search Console
If you connect Google Search Console, you grant WriteGap read-only access to your GSC data. We use this data solely to provide the Service. You can revoke this access at any time.
8. Intellectual property
The WriteGap platform, design, and underlying technology are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your site data and the content generated for your account.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WriteGap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold WriteGap harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time from your settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
